Pueblo is the county seat and the most populous municipality of Pueblo County, Colorado. Called the city of opportunities, Pueblo and its surroundings have experienced remarkable economic growth in recent years. Pueblo is situated at the confluence of the Arkansas River and Fountain Creek, in the vicinity of Denver, 112 miles away. Transportation
Interstate 25 and U.S. Route 85 run in tandem on the same north–south expressway through Pueblo. U.S. Route 50 runs east-west through Pueblo. The bus lines operating here will take you to Denver, Colorado, Texas, Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Colorado Springs.

Education
Colorado State University Pueblo (CSU Pueblo) is located in Pueblo, which ensures access to higher education at an excellent level. Pueblo Community College (PCC) is a two-year, public, comprehensive community college in Pueblo. Primary education is provided by the well-organized Pueblo City Schools (D60) and Pueblo County School District 70.
