Commerce City recognized by Colorado Parks and Recreation Association

– The City of Commerce City was recently recognized by the Colorado Parks and Recreation Association (CPRA)

with a Columbine Award for its excellence in facility design of the city’s new outdoor leisure pool, Paradice Island. Commerce City Athletics Recreation Supervisor Tim Moore received the Colorado Association of Recreational Athletic (CARA) Legacy Award and Chad Redin, operations recreation supervisor, was named the CPRA Facility Manager Professional of the Year.

“We’re very proud to be recognized for these efforts in parks and recreation,” said Carolyn Keith, parks and recreation director. “Paradice Island Pool and the leadership of Tim Moore and Chad Redin exemplify how agencies can make their communities amazing places to live, work and play.”
